The latest Virgil Abloh auction is a set of relevant Louis Vuitton events that would be conducted through the month to take place from January 2022 and across the year. The revenue generated would be used for The Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund, which in collaboration of the Fashion Scholarship Fund, works towards educating students from the Black, African American, or African communities.

This particular auction is the debut of of the Louis Vuitton and Nike “Air Force 1” designed by Virgil Abloh especially for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 Collection. 

The bidding for these amazing sneakers commences on 26th January 2022 going up to 8th February 2022. The exciting online auction offers a limited 200 pairs of the designer sneakers across the 5 – 18 sizes. The minimum bid amount has been pegged at USD 2,000. These sneakers have been created using exquisite calf leather further adorned with the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram and Damier patterns having natural cowhide piping. 

Each pair will be sold with a Louis Vuitton pilot case, also from the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 collection, which was reinterpreted from the Maison’s archive in an iconic orange color way and made of Monogram Taurillon Leather. The pilot case features Louis Vuitton’s classic S lock closure in white metal finishing and includes a luggage tag in the shape of the Nike Swoosh. The pilot case adapts to every shoe size, based on an internal cushion system, and will be exclusive to the auction.
