"I have spent years studying the delicate khatwa (applique) work of Santhali artisans. I recall hearing youngsters laughing as they raced about the hamlet, enthralled by the blooming bougainvillaea, which they named Kagaj Baha. These recollections usually bring a smile to my face and remind me of life's simple joys.
