The Wallypower58X

During the Palm Beach International Boat Show in 2023, the arch disruptor Wally unveils the newest addition to its wallypower fleet. The wallypower58X, as expected from the brand, is a marvel of design, combining the acclaimed walkaround characteristics of the wallypower58 with strong outboard propulsion.

Wally announced the sale of the wallywhy100 to a new American owner at the US boat show.

The sleek, muscular hull lines merge with the stealth-like deckhouse, whose sharp angles and long flat surfaces evoke the original wallypower118's iconic style. Glass is used with an architectural eye, affording people in the cockpit uninterrupted views of the horizon without the usage of a pillar.

Innovative

The true innovation, however, is how the aft deck is structured to accommodate up to four 600hp Mercury Verado V12 engines without hindering the owner's and guests' interaction with the ocean. Folding aft bulwarks and a wide sunpad for four convert the deck into a natural beach club. Its size of roughly 25 square metres makes it ideal for enjoying the tranquilly of a secluded harbour or mooring. In addition, Wally has found room for its revolutionary hydraulic passarelle, which serves as a swimming ladder.

Revolutionary Features

In addition to the Magic Porthole, the new wallypower58X has a variety of other revolutionary features. Rather of punctuating the immaculate hull with windows, which sacrifice privacy and present a weak spot in the case of a crash, the advantages of outer visibility are reproduced on the inside utilising camera pictures transmitted to enormous displays. Power Advantage

Utilizing Mercury's new intelligent V12 engines provides further advantages. They feature a shallower draught than previous versions, making them appropriate for shallow water operations. Moreover, the rotating gearcases and joystick manoeuvring system enable for trouble-free precise docking in confined places. All of this, along with the yacht's ultra-deep-V hull profile, renders it very seaworthy and capable of speeds beyond 50 knots at half load and 320 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 42 knots.

A versatile performer

The wallypower58X is adaptable to a variety of environments, climates, and applications due to its distinctive glass superstructure. Its adaptability contributes significantly to its attractiveness. Adjustable cockpit tops with electric hatches allow for more ventilation as required, and the enclosed outer space may be air-conditioned for comfort at anchor or in port. In colder weather, the whole cockpit may be encased in glass and heated.

A wide sunpad dominates the aft deck, with an unique modular design that allows it to sit four passengers looking forward simultaneously. Another Wally invention, a sleek sun awning folds up at the press of a button to envelop the sunpad. Forward-extending side decks lead to a second sun salon on the foredeck.

Multiple utilities

The glass-enclosed cockpit provides enough space for 12 to 16 passengers on the forward-facing part of the sunpad and the two flanking seats. A huge table extends to offer a seated eating room on the starboard side, while enabling access from the cabin area on the port side. The galley is divided into two parts that owners may outfit with a variety of alternatives, including as refrigerators, icemakers, cooking surfaces, and storage.

Adaptable

The accommodation below deck is equally adaptable, with natural light pouring through the glass ceiling. Standard on the wallypower58 is a full-beam "double saloon" for guest and owner use, as well as a day head with a separate shower on the port side. Natural light is given by a big glass panel placed in the main deck's ceiling. Up front, the main cabin has a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a huge shower that stands alone.
