The Art of Legacy - Bugatti's Miniature Masterpiece Emerges from Hedley Studios Collaboration

Heritage Reimagined in Miniature

Hedley Studios (formerly The Little Car Company) has joined forces with Bugatti and Jascha Straub, Manager of Sur Mesure and Individualisation, to create an extraordinary one-of-a-kind Bugatti Baby II. This three-quarter-scale electric vehicle pays homage to the legendary Bugatti Type 35—widely regarded as one of history's most successful racing machines—while embodying over 115 years of the prestigious French marque's heritage.

Jascha Straub brings years of specialized Bugatti collaboration experience to this project, having earned the trust of the world's most discerning automotive collectors. His creative direction and meticulous attention to detail have been instrumental in guiding clients through the personalization process, transforming hyper sports cars into bespoke reflections of individual style.

Ettore's Palette Lives On

This exclusive creation showcases a stunning duo-tone finish of 'Nocturne' black and 'Giallo Midas' yellow—a color combination personally favored by founder Ettore Bugatti. This historic palette, which adorned iconic models like the Type 57 Grand Raid Usine, bridges past and present with sophisticated elegance. The interior features premium black leather from 'Bridge of Weir,' a thoughtful tribute to both Bugatti's heritage and its spiritual home in Molsheim.

Equestrian Influences

The design subtly celebrates Ettore Bugatti's lesser-known passion for equestrian excellence. His admiration for 'Pur Sang' thoroughbreds profoundly influenced his automotive philosophy and is delicately woven into this unique Bugatti Baby II, elevating it beyond mere vehicle to collector's masterpiece and drivable art.

In a stunning display of craftsmanship, Straub hand-drew intricate sketches directly onto the vehicle's body panels, drawing inspiration from Bugatti's historic Molsheim estate. These illustrations—depicting prancing horses, triumphant racing cars, the iconic Château Saint Jean, and portraits of both Ettore and Jean Bugatti—are preserved under clear coat with remarkable clarity.

Each artistic element contributes to the Bugatti Baby II's unparalleled narrative and exceptional status as a mobile gallery of Bugatti heritage.
