Tennis Legend Venus Williams Has Been Chosen as Lacoste's New Global Ambassador

Venus Williams, the tennis player and creator of the lifestyle brand EleVen, has been designated the new worldwide ambassador for Lacoste.

As per a statement from French Company Lacoste Williams embodies all the aspirations of the new fashion-sport silhouette conceived by Louise Trotter and will exhibit the brand's new concept of producing flexible clothes to appeal to women's current lifestyles.

Creative director of Lacoste Louise Trotter also added that the new concept consisted of Lacoste celebrating its new silhouette, at the confluence of fashion and athletics. Louise also mentioned that it incorporated scientific materials, important features, and vibrant colours and this aesthetic is influenced by their history's roots: on-point items inspired by the body's mobility, precisely as René Lacoste intended.

Venus Williams also added that she has always been a Lacoste fan, and the brand's unique aesthetic, which extends beyond its tennis origins, had always inspired her. She mentioned that Louise Trotter is a true visionary, and her work as the House's creative director happens to be forward-thinking, inspiring, and ever-evolving and she was ecstatic to be collaborating with her as the face of Lacoste's newest style.

The tennis player will front Lacoste's new fashion-sport concept, which will debut with a unisex line of trench coats, bras, dresses, shirts, and accessories.

Williams will not only be the brand's new face, but he will also be a supporter of the Lacoste Foundation, which has been fighting to promote equality throughout the world since 2006.
