In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the travel and tourism sector in Africa has plummeted greatly. With the African wildlife conservation sector majorly dependent on tourism income, the elephants and their habitats remain vulnerable to poachers and exploitation. Intending to avert this conservation crisis and offer support to the African elephants, Net-A-Porter in collaboration with Space for Giants, an international conservation organization has launched exclusive capsule collections. With 100% of its proceeds going to Space for Giants, these capsule collections include brands Burberry, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Brunello Cucinelli, Chantecaille, and Ole Lyngaard Copenhagen in collaboration with Gemfields, as well as emerging brands such as Hereu, Fisch, and Bassike. With consumers wanting to shop for a cause, this initiative will answer the buyer’s most pertinent question: “Where does my money go?”
Some of the most renowned people from myriad fraternities have joined hands for this wonderful noble objective. Francesco Carrozzini, the Italy-born director, photographer and philanthropist has tastefully shot the entire campaign. Graceful British-American fashion model Arizona Muse and Gen Z American fashion model Selena Forrest have been featured too. With the hugely successful Italian online fashion retailer Yoox Net-A-Porter Group providing space to charitable goods that are functional above everything else, the excitement about these clothes is evidently palpable. Another major aspect about this magnificent gesture from one of the biggest online fashion portals in the world is that the entire proceeds from the collection will be given in charity to Space for Giants.
