Luxury Audio Brand Focal Introduces Littora For Yachts and Wet Environments

Focal introduces the Littora family of marine-grade speaker drivers. These items discreetly integrate into walls and ceilings inside and outdoors to offer high-quality sound while fitting in with their environment. By entering this industry, the French brand reaffirms its position as an audio leader and caters to all listening demands with Focal-quality sound.

RIVIERA SOUND

Focal adds outdoor sound to its interior offerings (speakers, Home Cinema, in-wall/in-ceiling, etc). Yachts and seaside properties (house, restaurant, etc.) or wet areas (spa, steam room, etc) (humidity, sea spray, salt, wind, etc.). This deal follows the July 2021 launch of the Focal Powered by Naim store in Cannes, which has a boat-themed first floor. Focal also provides technical assistance on speaker placement, acoustic testing, on-site sound design, and sound tuning.

LITTORA 1000/200

Littora 1000 and 200 are in-wall and in-ceiling speaker drivers. First is flagship. French-made. Inspired by Focal's Utopia in-wall/in-ceiling devices, the 1000 ICW8 and ICW10 give excellent outdoor sound. Complemented by the 1000 ICW SUB10 subwoofer, they're great for parties and high-quality listening. Littora 200 combines compactness and performance to give broad sound coverage. Three outdoor loudspeakers, the OD Sat 5, OD Stone 8, and OD Sub 12, are the last additions to the Littora 200 series.

FOCAL KNOW-HOW AND IP

Focal engineers designed the Fiber IP cone for the Littora 1000 series and the Iris IP cone for Littora 200 to satisfy the demands of maritime and coastal settings. These new items combine performance, discretion, simplicity of integration, and great weather resistance: they have IP65 certification, an international standard that designates a material's protection against solids and liquids. The collection is waterproof and weatherproof.

Indoor/outdoor mode and accessories

An angled mount, available in three sizes (6"/15cm, 8"/20cm, and 10"/25cm), allows you to tilt the speaker driver and direct the sound. By pushing a button on the rear, you may adjust the speaker drivers' sound for indoor or outdoor usage.
