It is Time For The Arceau Lift Tourbillon Repetition Minutes by Hermes

Hermès has launched an amazing luxury timepiece recently. The extraordinary watch is called the ‘Arceau Lift Tourbillon Repetition minutes’ which has been launched with a twist compared to its predecessor ‘Arceau Lift’. The watch is quite an eye-for-detail as it comprises of some amazing craftsmanship. The watch is to be produced in only two specific colors, being ‘Pink’ and ‘white gold’ respectively. The combinations of technical complications are just amazing as the first glance of the watch stands out with the whimsical house style of Hermès. The open dials and the asymmetric watch case, compliment the DNA of Hermès. The brand’s famous horse head motifs are incorporated in the minute mechanism dials in a very subtle and intrinsic way.

The H1294 movement is quintessentially high in finish and construction. The movement was started off by a struggling Geneva based movement specialist, Manufacture Haute complications (MHC) that’s has also supplied the same caliber to Dolce & Gabbana, Artya and H.Moser & Cie. The movement is not considered that special and unique as it has been part of other watch calibers. The dial is coated with lacquer rather than enamel coating.

The watch is priced around $270,000 seems to be a reasonable range as compared to it’s rivals who have the same movement costing around a similar price. However, the value proposition of the watch doesn’t seem to be a concern for future owners, seeing as how the twin complications come together with the amazing style of Hermès. The watch is a limited-edition machine. The exposed dial mechanisms seem to be well balanced with the elegant Breguet numerals.

On the back side of the watch, the movement seems to be well finished with black polish on the tourbillon Carriage. The bridges in the mechanism are polished with white rhodium, a one of a kind metal which is very extortionate. The edges of the dial seem to be well polished and very well designed with sharp edges.

The watch strap is made from alligator skin and has a power reserve of up to 90 hours. This watch is a hard mechanism to get your hands on, as it is available only on request at Hermès boutique stores. The watch seems to be a perfect blend of craftsmanship between technical and design complications coming to fruition.

Hermès seems to be always being a step ahead or part of the race in luxury as it looks to expand its reach in luxury consumables.
