Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Appoints Renowned Mixologist Alexandre Renoue as Beverage Manager

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai has a longstanding reputation for its exceptional beverage programme, which is exemplified by its iconic rooftop lounge, AER. With a reputation as one of the Best Bars in the World, AER's spectacular cocktails, great energy, and magnificent views have attracted cocktail enthusiasts from all over the globe. This month, after a year of extensive renovations, this multiple-award-winning destination will reopen in an entirely new form.

The Hotel now welcomes renowned mixologist Alexander Renoue to the position of Beverage Manager, with a mandate to lead its distinguished beverage programme throughout the Hotel's bars, its new, exclusive club Modernist, and dining outlets such as San:Qi and Prato.

Renoue's style of mixology is a combination of classic techniques and modern twists, and he takes the time to get to know his guests by asking about their preferred flavours, spirits, and ingredients in order to create an inspired and memorable cocktail experience. With Renoue as beverage manager at this upscale eatery, the hotel's cocktail menu features options varying from floral and revitalising to robust and complex, and is sure to impress even the most discriminating consumers. 

Alex, who was born and reared on the picturesque island of Corsica, contributes to his new position his extensive experience from living and working around the globe. From Zuma Dubai to Shangri-La in Colombo and Manila and the Back Room, Alex has relished uncovering libations that please discriminating consumers, and he arrives at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai prepared to stretch the boundaries of what is possible in the world of cocktails. 

Alex enjoys listening to music and has an enviable collection of over one thousand vinyl recordings when he is not behind the bar concocting cocktails. He is an avid surfer and wakeboarder, and he enjoys traversing the world in search of new locations to explore and local cuisine to sample.
