Ethereum-Backed 3D Video Sculpture 'Human One' by NFT Artist Beeple Bought For Close to USD 30 Million by Swiss Buyer

With the advent of NFT, the world of art has witnessed some serious momentum. The latest one with a slight twist is the sale of 'Human One' a 3-D sculpture of an astronaut by NFT artist Beeple. This extraordinary art work was procured by a Swiss buyer at an auction for close to 30 million US dollars.

Michael Joseph Winkelmann AKA Beeple, happens to be an American digital artist, graphic designer, and animator who has taken the world of NFTs by storm literally.

In March 2021 with the sale of his Everydays collage NFT at Christie’s for USD 69 million, Beeple literally has managed to write the first page in the enormously exciting book of NFTs. With his second NFT sale of a really unique piece of art called 'Human One' within almost six months, Beeple has added another golden page to his glorious NFT journey.

What is Different About Human One?

Human One is surely a new age piece of art and has been mentioned as a Kinetic Video Sculpture in the auction catalogue. This description itself makes it very interesting and what makes it more exciting is the fact that Human One is a piece of art that a beholder can touch in reality.

Human One is a glass box showing an astronaut walking and the backgrounds, which have been programmed digitally, keep changing. The settings keep altering depending on the box’s geographic location and the local time at that place.
