The Italian shipyard Baglietto has introduced the T60, a revolutionary new top-of-the-line yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski. The vessel is a modification of the popular T52, for which the shipyard has received six orders. It is sixty metres long and weighs around one thousand gross tonnes.
The yacht has no enclosed spaces: the floor-to-ceiling windows of both the main salon and the upper deck are fully retractable and, when completely buried, provide distinct habitats. During the day, informal areas allow visitors to enjoy the outdoors and the ocean to the fullest, while in the evening, they are converted into formal and stately settings. The beach area, main salon, and dining area are designed as an open, united space. A 60-square-meter beach lounge with a pool, a bar, and chairs. The main salon may be reached through an elegant staircase. The result is a more than 100-square-meter structure with two storeys and a dining space.
The master suite, located on the main deck and accessed from a lobby located amidships, has an en-suite sleeping area, a private salon, and a fixed balcony that can be enjoyed to the utmost even while the ship is at sea. In addition, the shipyard suggests an alternative configuration in which the whole upper deck is turned into an Owner's Deck. There are four guest cabins on the lower deck, two VIP and two standard. The crew quarters are positioned forward on the same deck, with 11 crew members sleeping in 6 cabins, whilst the captain's cabin is located on the upper deck behind the helm.
The whole sub-lower deck consists of technical chambers, such as a storage room, wine cellar, baggage compartment, and cold rooms. There are a lounge, dining room, hot tub, and sunbathing area on the upper deck. A touch-and-go helipad is situated near the ship's bow.
The sundeck has a 165-square-meter terrace with a panoramic view of the ocean. The garage, which can house a 23-inch tender, two jet skis, and a rescue tender, has been placed forward on the main deck, while the haute cuisine kitchen is situated in the vessel's centre.
The T60 is equipped with two CAT C32 ACERT engines that power her to a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The vessel is also pre-fitted for hybrid propulsion, which is available upon request.
The shipyard will soon begin speculative construction of the first T60, with projected delivery by the end of 2025.
