Berlin-based multinational E-Commerce Firm Zalando is Now Accepting Applications For Fourth Sustainability Award

German brand Zalando is now accepting applications for the fourth Zalando Sustainability Award, which will be given at Copenhagen Fashion Week in August.

The prize, which promotes the exploration of sustainable alternatives by businesses and designers, has previously been received by Tobias Birk Nielsen's Danish menswear label Iso.Poetism, Swedish company House of Dagmar, and Copenhagen-based Nikolaj Storm.

The entry deadline is April 25, 2022 and three finalists will be selected on May 9, 2022, by an international jury comprised of members from Zalando and the Copenhagen Fashion Week show committee. All three finalists will then earn 25,000 euros for production expenses and be included in the show schedule for Copenhagen Fashion Week, which runs from August 9 to 12, 2022.

The jury members will conduct an in-depth examination of each brand's sustainability strategy and transparency, as well as its collection and degree of commitment to sustainable innovations and innovation.

On August 11, 2022, the winner will be revealed. They will earn 20,000 euros and will collaborate with Zalando to create a unique capsule collection that explores sustainable design and innovation across materials, manufacturing methods, technology solutions, and traceability.
