Almost 600 boats, including motor yachts, superyachts, catamarans, tenders, and sailing yachts, are shown at the annual Cannes boat show, which has been held in the picturesque French city since 1977.

The Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto host the water-based festival on the Bay of Cannes.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, what's new?

In 2019, the show's configuration changed, with the sailing yachts being moved to a new venue at the other end of the Croisette and the motor boats moving into the former Vieux Port area. The brokerage community maintained its normal presence in Port Canto.

Visitors may go between the two locations for free by taking advantage of the frequent bus and boat shuttles that leave every 15 minutes.

The new configuration, according to the event's organisers, has resulted in an additional 1,000 linear metres of berthing, a 7% increase over 2018.

Getting to the Cannes Yachting Festival

Shuttle buses, as well as routes 200 and 210, run directly between the Nice airport and the city of Cannes. Taxis are available, and their rates start at around €55, however this may increase with the amount of passengers.
