With the need to create comes the power to create. Designer Aprajita Toor’s creation was inherent out of her inevitable admiration for kolhapuris which gave her an itch to invent distinctive and expressive wearables for women. This led to the birth of the brand-'Aprajita Toor’ — a label symbolising the supreme heritage and culture of India.

 She was determined to discover the quintessentials of an Indian sandal with the ideal artisans shadowed in the villages of the country. Her journey assisted her to rediscover the vibrant colours that were symbolic of the Indian attire. In 2013 for the first time Aprajita Toor made a glam entrance with her signature kolhapuris in inventive and daring designs. In consecutive years the industry observed her playing around with fun and funky styles unlike before. The shoes conquered the ramps of national and international fashion weeks by flowing inn regard and remembrance.

Today, 6 years into the business, the brand continues jamming over juttis by finding every Cinderella her perfect pair of missing shoes. The label has expanded itself into a wider range of bags and accessories. The company’s set up stays bound in the city of Mumbai which represents an Eco-friendly and creative work environment.

FEBRUARY 2012

A beginning is a belief. When a dream became a thought and a thought became a sketch.

This month’s calendar was marked with the commencement of a handcrafted luxurious invention set to be built.



EDGING AND STITCHING
SEPTMEBER 2013

2012 was an investment in experimentation and learning while 2013 was spent in the designer’s creation and invention.

They were determined to find their feet by helping others fit theirs.

The kolhs began to kick inn at this time of the year , the shoe game banged with bold designs and creativity.

The manufacturing growth expanded with finest craftsmen from the outskirts of the country who were brought to the city studio in Mumbai.

The shoes began displaying windows online and offline.



SELECTING THE HEEL
JULY 2014

The label was observed experimenting with its collection unlike before. Several failed attempts led to several new discoveries.

The brand was known for its play in fun and funk found in its quirkiness. The enthusiasm of the designer was reflected in her work which was once her dream.

Her shoes started walking ramps across the nation and the world which bought inn appreciation and fame.



FINISH AND REPEAT
APRIL 2018

The brand was seen climbing the top of the pyramid yet aspiring higher to continue building the empire.

The successful label is compassionate for its creative head, its fine karigars, its ups and downs with inventions and experimentations and lastly its honest customers.

The company is truly where it wants to be with the right shoes in the right feet.



PREPARING THE SOLE
NOVEMBER 2016

The story of the successful shoe designer continued over three years of hard work and three hundred unique designs later the pursuit to mould high street fashion for the empowered women enlarged.

The vision and mission statement of the company was developing in action.

The brand was running forward to help its customers walk fashion forward without skipping comfort.

Class and Comfort were an attachment towards the label.

Acknowledgement was an accomplishment for the brand’s efforts by its customers.

Aprajita Toor is a conscious designer who lays her focus emphasising on sustainability and environment. The brand displays an Eco friendly work environment. The brand values its customers as equally as its artisans. The label is in full disclosure of its products dealing in leather and natural materials. The brand is orthodox of its techniques which include hand stitching and customised products which do require endless efforts yet deliver a uniqueness by its products. The brand displays its art of responsive acts by dealing not just in selling but gaining its points in the maintenance of its valuable products. The label is exclusive not just due to its authentic products but services such as repairs, product care and product guides.
