Bengaluru, 5th February 2025:
This February, CUR8 at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru invites you to indulge in a culinary journey fit for royalty. Chef Mohammed Nadeem Qureshi, a descendant of the famed Lucknowi khansamas who once served the Nawabs, presents a gastronomic celebration of Sigri and Dum cooking—two iconic slow-cooking techniques that define the regal flavors of North India.
From February 7 to February 16, 2025, diners can immerse themselves in the heritage of Lucknowi cuisine, where every dish tells a story of tradition, artistry, and indulgence.
The Art of Sigri & Dum: A Sensory Culinary Experience
The Sigri Aur Dum Food Showcase brings forth the age-old cooking traditions of slow grilling (Sigri) and slow cooking (Dum), offering a sensory voyage through North India’s gastronomic past. Inspired by Lucknow’s vibrant food culture, this festival recreates the opulence of Nawabi feasts, where flavors are nurtured to perfection over gentle flames.
Step into a world where the golden glow of lanterns, the aroma of charcoal-grilled meats, and the symphony of simmering curries transport you to the bustling bylanes of Lucknow and the majestic havelis of a bygone era.
