A Collaboration Of An Indian Fashion Connoisseur's Dreams- Daira

Glasgow-based revivalist Ayush Kejriwal met the simplistic, perfectionist team behind Label Varsha, that’s what took place. A collaboration which became a moment of epiphany.

Label Varsha is determined towards their brand’s core values and is known to deliver the best of Indian craftsmanship that a woman could ask for. They value the roots of Indian culture and handicrafts and always hold it dear to their clothes. This is quite evident in their clothes too.

Ayush Kejriwal is known for his clothes which tell you a story. Dedicated and passionate about his work, he has a strong aesthetic with a designer’s eye for print. This is what drew him towards the label too.

Inspired from the laps of nature, in Kashmir, their collection, Daira expresses the intricate cashmere paisley motif that is known to originate from the land. The hues of this collection include velvet in deeper tones of ebony black, stone grey, deep purple, and cranberry red to manifest a collection that eludes regality.

Embroidered to perfection, the clothes are embroidered with a cording thread and a slight tinge of contrasting thread embroidery. Outfits that give you ease and comfort to move around, the silhouettes are also kept simple so as to emphasize the motifs.

Indulge in this royalty with oversized velvet shirts, with a printed velvet stole with straight pants.

On the collection, Ayush says “Daira, my first ever ready to wear collection in collaboration with Label Varsha is rather special. I have always loved the lushness and the softness of velvet and this collection celebrates just that…It makes a statement without even trying!”

Ayush also said that the collection is grand, luxe, precious, and very affordable. Daira will take you down a nostalgic trip and has a charm of its own.
